Plotting Without Attributes

Postby DeanUser » Wed Jun 23, 2010 11:42 am

I want to produce some plots that don't have any circuit numbers or switch IDs showing on them. Can I do this without using the Properties > Quick Select tool to manually empty out attributes in a temporary version of my project DWG? It would take a few minutes to set that up & I am wondering if there is a quicker way.

There is a quicker and much lower risk way of producing a plot without any visible attributes on it!

Use the ATTDISP command at the command line with the 'OFF' command to turn off all visible attributes for all blocks. Your layouts with viewports will automatically reflect this change and can be plotted to paper or PDF without any attributes showing. Once done producing outputs, you can use the ATTDISP command at the command line with the 'Normal' command to turn all visible attributes back on.
